- The President and CEO of a US-based notary services company needed her first-ever virtual assistant — and was bringing me on for collections work despite my having zero collections experience at the time.
- The business had a growing accounts receivable backlog, no documented processes, and no operational structure to support a growing team.
- I was hired as an Independent Contractor — a first for both of us — and was expected to ramp fast with minimal hand-holding.

Collection System Built a collection system from scratch. (With no prior collections experience, I designed a follow-up sequence, tracked all outstanding accounts, and partnered with legal firms to issue formal demand letters for non-responding clients.)
Documented the entire operation I created a full company wiki in Notion — SOPs, workflows, onboarding guides — structured so the business could run without every answer having to go through the CEO.
Built and led the team After being promoted to Executive Assistant, I hired and trained two additional virtual assistants who are still with the company today.
Owned the executive layer Managed inbox, calendar, priorities, reporting, and task coordination — giving the CEO back uninterrupted time to focus on leading the business.
